Social Studies/ Social Science Notes For Ctet Paper 2 & Kvs 2026: The CTET exam comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to appear for both papers. The Social Science subject is a part of the CTET Paper 2 syllabus. A total of 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs) are asked from the CTET Social Science in Paper 2.

The CTET exam 2026 is organised based on guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The CTET syllabus 2026 is prescribed by the CBSE after taking into consideration the NCTE guidelines.
